The summertime warmth is slowly transition to the invigorating, cooler temperatures of fall. Kids all over the state have returned to school and classes. Perhaps now is the time to think about a new career.

The Postal Service has thousands of employees who were stay at home parents before becoming a postal employee. Empty nesters may also be desiring a career change. Perhaps now that the kids are back in school, whether for the first time or off to college, it’s time to think about earning some extra money in a new career.

The Postal Service continues to look for energetic new hires with the goal to fill hundreds of positions throughout the Denver Metro Area. Positions open are in Littleton, Aurora, Denver and Longmont. Join us for one of our local job fairs.

Where: Aurora Main Post Office located at 16890 E Alameda Parkway, Aurora, CO

When: Friday, October 4, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Where: Denver General Mail Facility located at 7500 E 53rd Pl, Denver, CO

When: Saturday, October 5, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Where: Longmont Post Office located at 201 Coffman Street, Longmont, CO

Employees will be available to help fair attendees with benefits, qualifications, and application questions. Laptops will be available on the day of the event for immediate application submission.

Starting pay varies depending on the job. But starting pay for carriers ranges between $20.38 and $22.13 per hour paid bi-weekly. Applications are accepted online at www.usps.com/careers.

Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Although in some instances, interested candidates can also be 16 with a high school diploma. Applicants must also be available to work weekends and holidays.
