U.S. Postal Service to Hire Tractor Trailer Operators

Miami, FL — If you have a Florida Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a salary of $28.74 per  hour is appealing to you, mark Thursday, July 14, on your calendar. You’ll want to attend the U.S. Postal Service’s free job fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the lobby of the Miami General Mail Facility at 2200 NW 72 Ave. Postal officials will be available to answer any employment questions and to  assist with the application process. Apply onsite on computers set up in the lobby.

Applicants must have a safe driving record, and at least two years of unsupervised experience driving passenger cars or larger vehicles and one year of full-time unsupervised experience (or equivalent) driving a seven-ton or larger truck, tractor trailer, or a 16-passenger or larger bus. The driving must have taken place in the United States or its possessions or territories or in U.S. military installations worldwide.
