POMPANO BEACH, FL — The U.S. Postal Service is considering the potential relocation of retail operations from the Tropical Reef Post Office Station located at 1950 NE 6 Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33060 to a new location within the city of Pompano Beach.
The Postal Service proposes moving to a building of approximately 5,000-square feet within a one-mile radius of the existing location. The proposed new facility will maintain the same level of service.
The Postal Service will continue retail services in the current Post Office until the new Post Office is up and running.
Tropical Reef Post Office customers have been notified about the potential relocation through a postcard in the mail and have the opportunity to provide comments regarding the proposal. We are inviting customers to send their comments on the proposal to the following address for receipt on or before February. Comments must be received by February 16, 2025.

After the comment period, the Postal Service will consider the comments received. Following that consideration, the Postal Service will make a final decision to proceed with, modify, or cancel the proposal.
