Durand Post Office Celebrating ZIP Code™ Day, Monday, June 10

DURAND, IL — It’s a rare occurrence, about once every 100 years when the ZIP Code™ matches the date. That is the case Monday, when the date of 6/10/24 aligns with the Durand ZIP Code™ of 61024.

The Durand Post Office is celebrating Zip Code Day on Monday, 6/10/24.  Activities include a special date stamp with photos and treats inside the Post Office from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  

Monique Benjamin-Routen, Postmaster said, “Monday, June 10 will be the historic day that Date Meets Zip for 61024.” 

The Durand Post Office is located at 211 N. Center Street, 61024.
