Cardiss Collins Postal Facility, 433 W. Harrison St, Closed for Routine General Maintenance on Sunday, October 13

CHICAGO, IL — The Downtown Chicago Post Office at 433 W. Harrison Street will be closed to the public from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 13 for routine general maintenance involving a mandatory switchgear process. We are planning to resume normal operations at 2 p.m. contingent upon completion of the repair.  While the switchgear maintenance is performed, many areas of the building will be without power for approximately 8 hours.   

There will be NO mail processed for callers after 5:00 am on Sun. October 13, which is the final drop to the caller area.  There will be NO Bank Mail available as in the past. 

Graceland Station Retail is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays. Graceland is located at 3024 N. Ashland Ave. 60657.
