USPS to host DRIVE-THRU Job Fair at two Detroit area locations

The Postal Service has immediate openings for City Carrier Assistant (CCA). Positions start at $18.01 per hour.

To be considered for the positions, applicants must qualify on the assessment test, performance test, and have a current driving license with a minimum of 2 years good driving record.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or High School graduate.
  • Must be US Citizen or have permanent resident alien status.
  • Must pass a background check, drug test and pre-employment medical assessment.
  • Must reside within daily commuting distance of the position.

The Drive-Thru Job Fair is an outdoor event. Employees working the job fair will wear masks and will socially distance.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
