MINNESOTA — The United States Postal Service is proud to announce the launch of its latest initiative, "For the Long Haul," aimed at celebrating the dedication and commitment of postal workers who have faithfully served their communities in the same position for over 25 years. This campaign will highlight heartwarming and inspiring stories of these postal heroes who have become integral parts of the neighborhoods they serve.
"For the Long Haul" underscores the enduring relationships that letter carriers, retail associates, and postmasters have built with their customers over decades. These stories will showcase their unwavering dedication, often going above and beyond their duties to ensure the postal services, safety and well-being of the people in the communities they serve.
Key Highlights of the "For the Long Haul" Initiative:
"Our letter carriers, retail associates, and postmasters are the heartbeat of the neighborhoods they serve," said Desai Abdul-Razzaaq, USPS Spokesperson. USPS invites community members to nominate long-serving letter carriers, retail associates, and postmasters, and share their stories. Nominations can be submitted via email to desai.o.abdul-razzaaq@usps.gov or by visiting local Post Offices. Selected stories will be featured in upcoming editions of the "For the Long Haul" campaign.
