INDIANAPOLIS — The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) today recognized area mailers Security Finance and Marleylilly for innovation and industry best practices, two out of 14 companies total nationwide. The awards were presented on the final day of the National Postal Forum, the largest annual trade show in the country for the mailing industry, which was held this year in Indianapolis.
The USPS Area awards were presented to customers in two categories: the Mailing and Digital Innovation Award, recognizing customers who demonstrate creativity by finding new methods to use the mail to drive significant business results and mail growth; and the Shipping and eCommerce Innovation Award, honoring customers who have used industry best practices to implement new technologies to maximize efficiencies, and to convert requests for purchase and fulfillment into package volume reflecting significant business results. There were two winners in each of the Postal Service’s seven geographic Areas across the nation: Capital Metro, Eastern, Great Lakes, Northeast, Pacific, Southern and Western.
Security Finance received the Capital Metro Area Mailing and Digital Innovation Award. Headquartered in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Security Finance offers safe and easy installment loans and tax services to its customers.
Security Finance and its marketing team have been at the forefront of the mailing industry using the latest tools, like Informed Delivery. Security Finance uses Informed Delivery campaigns in all of its marketing mailings to link digital technology and enable direct links to its services. They have completed nearly 300 Informed Delivery campaigns and continue to use specialized ride-along links to increase response rates.
Marleylilly received the Capital Metro Area Shipping and eCommerce Innovation Award. Marleylilly is an eCommerce monogramming and personalized gift boutique based in Greer, South Carolina.
Marleylilly adopted a new operating system this year to keep up with the eCommerce environment. The company’s new robotic operating process has improved speed, efficiency, and accuracy for shipping orders with USPS to its customers.
