Media is invited to tour the postal facility to view holiday packages, cards and letters going through mail processing and sorting at the North Texas Processing & Distribution Center (P&DC).

Note: Due to safety requirements, closed toe shoes must be worn.

Background:

Media will tour the Postal Service facility to view holiday mail processing.

The Postal Service expects to deliver a total of approximately 13 billion total pieces of mail, including greeting cards and packages during the 2019 holiday season. Projections are that approximately 800 million packages will be delivered between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve.
