Background:

Media will tour the Postal Service facility to view holiday mail processing.

The Postal Service expects to deliver a total of approximately 13 billion total pieces of mail, including greeting cards and packages during the 2019 holiday season. Projections are that approximately 800 million packages will be delivered between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve.
