Background:

Former U.S. Senator Bob Krueger lived an extraordinary life of service to the New Braunfels community, the state of Texas, and the world. He was a human rights advocate, a U.S. Ambassador, a true statesman and an outstanding public servant. To the New Braunfels community, he was their hometown hero and the city’s favorite political son. When not traveling, his daily routine included a morning trip to the post office to buy stamps, mail a letter or a package, and visit. He never met a stranger. The dedication of his neighborhood post office in his honor is a fitting tribute in recognition of his lifetime service to New Braunfels and America.

This event is free and open to the public.
