Hingham, WI, Post Office
What:
The U.S. Postal Service is mailing a postcard to the Hingham WI addresses, announcing a proposed relocation of the Post Office previously located at N2750 Main St, Hingham, WI 53031-9800. The postcard provides information about the public comment period.
Who:
USPS Real Estate Specialist Greg Shelton
Background:
Due to potential safety concerns, the Postal Service is now looking for a new retail location within two miles of the previous location. The Postal Service is looking for either (a) an existing building that is about 770 SF with 8+ parking or (b) land to lease that is about 8,500 SF for the Postal Service to place a Postal owned building.
The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing location. Retail Services will continue at the temporary COOP Post Office in Oostburg, WI located at 1508 Center Ave. until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.
We are inviting comments on the proposal and request they be sent to the following address within the next 45 days: United States Postal Service, ATTN: Hingham WI Relocation, PO BOX 27497, Greensboro, NC 27498-1103.
