Effective March 6, 2025, the Postal Service™ is revising the Individual Country Listing for Malta in Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to request that the mailer:
n Provide the addressee’s mobile phone number and email address, if available, on the customs declaration form on all items containing goods mailed to Malta.
n Write or print the addressee’s contact phone number, if available, on the address labels attached to the items.
This revision is based on a formal request that MaltaPost (the designated postal operator of Malta) made through Universal Postal Union International Bureau Circular 206, dated December 23, 2024.
