FOREST FALLS — Francisco Sepulveda was recently named the Postmaster of the Forest Falls Post Office.

He replaces former Forest Falls Postmaster John Katena, who retired.

As Forest Falls City Postmaster, Sepulveda supervises two employees and oversees retail services at the Forest Falls Post Office and the daily distribution of mail on one delivery route and to more than 400 PO Boxes at his facility.

Sepulveda is an 18-year postal employee who began his career as a mail carrier and most recently served as the officer in charge of the San Jacinto Post Office.

I’m proud and thankful to have been selected for this great opportunity,” said Sepulveda. “I hope to continue the Postal Service’s legacy of outstanding customer service and to contribute to the overall success of the organization.

“As outlined in USPS’s Delivering for America plan, we are modernizing and continually adapting to the changing needs of our customers. Our customers are priority one, whether they’re located in the biggest cities or smaller communities such as Forest Falls.

“I want to express my gratitude to the leadership team at the USPS San Diego District office for believing in me and giving me this opportunity.”

Sepulveda was born and raised in North Hollywood, and currently resides in Riverside. He is a graduate of Arlington High School and Riverside Community College, where he earned an associate degree in Administration of Justice, Social and Behavioral Science.

Sepulveda’s hobbies include spending time with his wife and son, remote control cars, off roading and long-range shooting.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its operations
