Open Season 2023
Dear Employees,
Open Season is here! This is your once-a-year opportunity to make changes to your benefits. Open Season 2023 officially begins November 13 and ends December 11, 2023. The Postal Service is providing the following information to assist you in reviewing your benefits options for 2024.
You will find information about the following programs:
n Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB).
n USPS® Health Benefits Plan (USPS HB) for eligible pre-career employees.
n Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Programs (FEDVIP).
n Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
n Annual Leave Exchange Program (ALE).
n Educational material about how your benefits work.
You are also encouraged to visit the Virtual Benefits Fair throughout Open Season 2023. During the live event days, you can view live presentations and chat with specialists. Additionally, the Benefits and Wellness Team will host webinars throughout Open Season 2023 via Zoom. You will find detailed information about the Virtual Benefits Fair, as well as webinar schedules and how to access webinars and resources at liteblue.usps.gov/openseason.
On the website, you will also find a link to CHECKBOOK’s Guide to Health Plans for Federal Employees. This tool will allow you to compare plans and help determine the best plan for you and your family’s health care requirements. Premiums are expected to increase this year, so now is a good time to review your coverages, costs, and needs.
For important updates throughout Open Season 2023 and beyond, text “Benefits” to 39369. Carrier SMS and data rates may apply.
Stay safe and healthy,
Your USPS Benefits and Wellness Team
