Senior Vice President, Finance and Strategy
Luke Grossmann was named senior vice president, Finance and Strategy, in August 2019. He reports to the chief financial officer and executive vice president.
In this role, Grossmann is responsible for leading research, development and implementation of strategy, financial planning, demand forecasting and economic analysis. He supports management- and board-directed strategy development and financial analysis. He also leads the organization’s approach to financial analysis and decision making, and is responsible for driving improvements in business performance.
Before, Grossmann served as vice president, Finance and Planning, in which he was responsible for leading the Postal Service’s revenue and expense budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, and program evaluation. He was previously director, Operations Research, Insight and Continuous Improvement, in which he was responsible for operations research, operations industrial engineering and continuous improvement efforts. Grossmann has also served as manager, Package Platform; manager, Network Development and Support; and district manager, Albany, New York.
Grossmann earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and finance, and a minor in statistics from American University. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as part of the Postal Sloan Fellows program.
