Eureka Letter Carrier Receiving Million Mile Award

National Safety Council Award will be Presented Tues. Aug. 27

What:

Eureka, IL City Letter Carrier Tim Welch will receive the National Safety Council Million Mile award at a ceremony at the Eureka Post Office, Tuesday, August 27 at 8:00 a.m.

Who:

Thirty-year Postal employee, Tim Welch earned the National Safety Council (NSC) award in recognition of his stellar safe driving record. The NSC Million Mile Award recognizes drivers with 1 million miles of driving or 30 accumulated years driven without preventable incidents. The award will be presented by Post Office Operations Manager, Mark Wilson and Eureka Postmaster Brian Shirey.
