USPS to host Job Fair at Kendallville Public Library

Various positions available in the 467 ZIP Code area

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – If you’re looking for a job with the U.S. Postal Service and live in the 467 ZIP Code area, you’ll be interested to know that Kendallville Post Office is hosting a job fair at the Kendallville Public Library on Thursday, May 6, 2021  from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Postal Service has reserved a room at the library. All CDC COVID safety guidelines will be observed including face coverings and social distancing.

DATE:  Thursday, May 6, 2021

TIME: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

LOCATION: Kendallville Public Library
                     221 S. Park Avenue
                     Kendallville, IN 46755

The Postal Service will provide a laptop on site to help interested candidates create their online candidate profile.  

For letter-carrying positions, applicants must have a valid state driver's license and demonstrate and maintain a safe driving record, and at least two years of unsupervised experience driving passenger cars or larger in the U.S.

Rural carrier positions may require the use of applicant’s own personal vehicle which must be suitable for use.

Rural carrier associates must be available to work on an as-needed basis.

Most non-career positions have possible career tracks with great health and retirement benefits.

Applicants for all USPS positions must be a United States citizen, a lawful permanent resident alien, a citizen of American Samoa or any other territory owing allegiance to the United States.

Attendees must be more than 17 years of age.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
