Notice of Proposed Relocation and Comment Period

What:

The U.S. Postal Service will send out a postcard for the Oshtemo Post Office previously located at 6360 Stadium Dr., Kalamazoo, MI 49009.

Background:

Due to a loss of lease, the Postal Service is now looking for a new retail services to a yet-to-be-determined location within three miles of the previous location. The desired size of the new facility needs to be approximately 3,100 gross square feet with 19+ dedicated parking stalls.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the previous location. Retail Services will continue at the P&DC facility located 3885 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009  until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.
