Visit www.ready.gov or www.listo.gov to prepare for hurricanes and severe weather.

Hurricane strikes Southeast U.S.

A destructive Hurricane Idalia has struck several states in the Southeast U.S. There are impacts to USPS operations in areas affected by the powerful storm. Please refer to our residential service alerts webpage for current status. We are working to reopen facilities and restore service as soon as possible where it is safe to do so.

Service disruptions

Residential customers and small businesses can find out if mail is being delivered, or if their Post Offices are open. Business mailers get more detailed information about USPS mail processing facilities, and the operating status of delivery units, as well as any impacts on mail delivery overseas.
